The Shocker HD Air Hitch is the heavy-duty flagship of the Shocker bumper-pull lineup, finished in safety red, and it puts a real air spring between the truck and the load so that shock gets soaked up instead of passed along.

It fits a 2-inch receiver on F-150-class half-ton trucks (and class III/IV receivers), hauls 20,000 lbs of trailer (GTW) with up to 2,000 lbs of tongue weight, and rides on a beefier-wall version of Shocker's signature 8-hole chassis with an upgraded HD-rated airbag. This is the hitch for one-ton trucks pulling the heaviest legal bumper-pull loads.

20K-Rated Air Spring: The HD air bag runs more plies of rubber than the 14K version, so it carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer while still soaking up the road shock that would otherwise beat on your truck and your cargo.

Adjust It for the Load: A heavy bumper-pull trailer can swing more than 1,000 lbs between empty and full. Air it up for a max-weight run and let air back out for the deadhead home. The HD airbag has a wider usable pressure range than the 14K.

Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis: It keeps the same outside geometry as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits, but the walls are thicker steel and the welds are reinforced for 20K loadings.

Rocker-Arm Pivot: Shocker's down-and-back motion runs on a single pivot even at HD loadings. There are no slides, rollers, or stacked airbags to wear out, and fewer moving parts under this kind of stress means it lasts longer.

Heavier Airbag: A multi-ply rubber bag rated for the full 20K GTW with a wider usable pressure range, so it carries heavier tongue weight without bottoming out.

Most Shocker ball mounts are reversible, so you can flip the mount to turn drop into rise, or use the 8 adjustment holes to fine-tune coupler height.
