The Shocker HD Air Hitch drops a heavy-duty air spring between your truck and that load so the jarring gets soaked up instead of passed along. You get 20,000 lbs of towing and up to 2,000 lbs of tongue weight on a heavier-wall version of Shocker's 8-hole chassis with an upgraded HD air bag, so a one-ton can pull the heaviest legal bumper-pull load and still ride easy.

20K-Rated Air Spring: An HD air bag built with more rubber plies than the 14K version. It carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer while cushioning the road shock that would otherwise hammer your truck and your cargo.

Adjustable for Heavy Loads: A heavy bumper-pull trailer can swing more than 1,000 lbs between empty and loaded. Pump in air for a full run, bleed it off for the deadhead home. The HD bag works across a wider pressure range than the 14K, so it keeps up with big weight swings.

Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis: Same outside geometry as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits, but with thicker-wall steel and reinforced welds rated to handle the full 20K load.

Rocker-Arm Pivot: Shocker's down-and-back motion runs on a single pivot with no slides, rollers, or stacked air bags, even at HD loads. Fewer parts working under that much stress means it lasts longer.

Heavier Airbag: A multi-ply rubber bag rated for the full 20K GTW with a wider usable pressure range. It carries heavier tongue weight without bottoming out over the bumps.

Beefier Walls + Welds: Thicker steel and a reinforced weld pattern where the stress concentrates. Rated for 2,000 lbs of tongue weight, up from 1,400 lbs on the Original 14K.

This Shocker HD Air Hitch & Pintle Hook w/Mount ships set up in a 2.5" Rise to 6.5″ Drop ball-mount configuration. Most Shocker ball mounts are reversible, so you can flip the mount to turn drop into rise, or use the 8 adjustment holes to fine-tune your coupler height.
