What the warranty covers

Coverage is tiered by component. The clock starts on the original date of retail purchase and the warranty is non-transferable.

365 days

1-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Every Shocker Hitch product is warranted against defects in material or workmanship under normal use for one year (365 days) from the date of purchase. Coverage is for the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable.

60 days

60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

On top of the warranty, you have 60 days from delivery to confirm the hitch fits your rig and meets your expectations. If it doesn't, we cover the return — full refund, no restocking fees. See the return policy for the fine print.

What we'll do

  • Repair the defective hitch or part at no charge using new or refurbished components
  • Or replace the entire hitch assembly — at our discretion based on the defect
  • Honor the remaining warranty on any replacement product (whichever is longer between the original term and the new tier's full warranty)

What's not covered

  • Shipping or transportation costs for warranty repairs or replacements
  • Damage incurred while shipping the hitch back for service
  • Finish (paint, powder coat, electroplating) and cosmetic wear
  • Normal wear and tear under proper use
  • Labor or service charges for installation or replacement
  • Damage from abuse, neglect, misuse, accidents, or improper installation
  • Products that have been overloaded beyond the rated GTW / tongue weight
  • Products that have been modified, drilled, cut, or altered
  • Loss of time, vehicle use, rental expenses, lodging, or incidental costs
  • Damage caused by theft, loss, or natural disasters
  • Use of unapproved accessories or unauthorized modifications

Contact us

Call 587-897-4625 or email support@shockerhitch.com. Have ready: the part number, a description of the defect, and clear photos of the issue. Registering your hitch beforehand speeds the lookup.

We verify and confirm

We confirm the purchase date, eligibility, and the warranty tier the issue falls under. If qualified, we authorize the claim and email next steps.

Repair or replace

At our discretion, we either repair the hitch using new or refurbished parts, or replace the entire hitch assembly. Replacement items assume the remaining warranty of the original product, or the new tier's full warranty — whichever is longer.

Return the defective item

The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the defective hitch or part. Any replaced or refunded product becomes the property of Shocker Hitch.
