The universal install — 5 steps
The mechanics are the same across the line. Your product-specific sheet has the exact torque and PSI.
- 1
Inspect the receiver / coupler
Clean rust and debris. Confirm receiver size or pin-box compatibility. Remove existing hardware.
- 2
Slide in or drop in
Receiver hitches drop into the tube. Goosenecks drop through the bed. Pin boxes bolt to the camper frame. Align pin holes / hardware.
- 3
Pin and torque
Install the included hitch pin + clip (receiver) or torque-bolt the frame hardware to manufacturer spec. Tug firmly to confirm seat.
- 4
Attach the ball / coupler
Mount your selected ball, pintle, or coupler. Anti-seize on threads. Torque to spec on the included ball-mount instruction.
- 5
Set air pressure
Hook up the loaded trailer. Add air until the bump cushion compresses ~1/8" (receiver/tongue) or to the PSI range listed on the air-pressure guide.
