“I bought this hitch 3 years ago and have loved it ever since. I Know it doesn't look pretty anymore, but when you are using it everyday with many different trailers and weights this thing look like Gold. Easy to install easy to use. I have been stopped by many people to get a look at this hitch and two police officers. I live where people use there trucks for life and need things that can stand up to the hard work and weather. Since I rarely have anytime to write a review, I thought I would take my time and write one for this product. So all that said Love the product and I will be buying a gooseneck version from you later this month.”

“This hitch has performed very well, it works perfectly . My truck is pretty stout so has the capacity to bumper pull my 25 foot Airstream Trailer without Weight Distribution. . My only complaint is it should be designed to extend a little further away from the receiver hitch so my tailgate would open better. There are times if setup is not level the tailgate hits jack.”

The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of its design, and its elegant red color gives it a perfect balance between subtlety and strength. I would also like to highlight the excellent support team. From the very beginning, I was assisted by James, who proved to be highly professional, friendly, and efficient throughout the entire process. As a suggestion for improvement, I believe the shipping protection could be reinforced a bit more. I understand that this is a heavy item, but additional packaging would help ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Overall, I give this product a five-star rating for its build quality. Once I have the chance to fully test it, I will gladly update my review to share my experience with its performance.”

“First off, I ordered the wrong hitch. After a considerable time, I finally was getting to the install and verifying what I needed versus what I had. James set me up pretty easy and quickly. I received the new weight distribution w/chain set up and installed it myself. The one thing I can say I changed was the metal screws were changed to a 7/16-14x1in bolt. I wanted the Shocker Hitch WD w/chain for simplicity and the reduction of what I call road feed back. I can simply say that the hitch I have has exceeded expectations. Between my wife and my dogs they have made a believer out of me. The Hitch itself is substantial so if you're over 70 yrs old or have a bad back I would say check it out prepurchase. But if you can handle the weight that this the best hitch I have found. It appears to be extremely versatile with all the different attachments you can swap out. 10 out of 10 I'd buy again!”

“i've had 3 camping trailers over the last 30 years or so. i drove semi trucks for 40 years. back in 2022 i bought a new ford f250 diesel to pull my 23' toy hauler trailer. i up graded to the shocker HD hitch . they are the "BEST". makes it so smooth the only problem you'll have is a sore neck from looking in the mirror to see if the trailer is still there.”

“Nice pins, work well, unfortunately not a match for a battery powered grinder with a cut off wheel. My first Shocker hitch was stolen off of my truck, despite having the locking pins. I liked the hitch and the locking pins enough that I ordered them again, I just won’t leave the hitch on the truck unless a trailer is attached. Lesson learned.”

“Bought the Shocker 14K Max to replace my Shocker XR with WDH. I tow a 30' Airstream Globetrotter (8800 GVWR) which really needs to be towed without weight distribution to prevent damage. My Silverado 2500HD has plenty of towing capacity and really doesn't need WDH but has a bit more sag when towing than is desirable. Instead, I switched to the Shocker Max and Timbren SES to keep it level. Just returned from a 600+ mile trip and it towed fantastically. Smooth, level, non-jarring - all the things that make an Airstream happy when going down the highway.”

“I have towed trailers since the 60s and it was always Bump and Bang, it was just accepted as part of towing. I recently got the Shocker hitch 14K air receiver and was it an eye opened. I towed a 9000lb trailer and did not have ANY Bump, Bangs, Jerks or Slams. I should have gotten this hitch years ago.
