How Shocker HD Air Ride Works
20K-Rated Air Spring
The air bag is the ride. It's a multi-ply rubber spring with a heavier ply count than the 14K version, so it carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer while soaking up the jolts before they reach your truck and cargo.
Adjustable for Heavy Loads
A stock trailer full of cattle and the same trailer empty can swing tongue weight by 1,000+ lbs. Add air for the heavy run, bleed it off on the deadhead home, and the ride stays right both ways. The HD airbag has a wider usable pressure range than the 14K.
Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis
The frame keeps the exact outside shape of the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still bolts right on. The steel is thicker and the welds are reinforced, rated for the full 20K loadings.
Rocker-Arm Pivot
