It fits F-250 / RAM 2500-class three-quarter-ton trucks (class V receivers) with a 2-1/2-inch receiver, and it carries 20,000 lbs GTW with up to 2,000 lbs of tongue weight on a beefier-wall version of Shocker's signature 8-hole chassis with an upgraded HD-rated airbag.

The 20K Air Spring Does the Cushioning: A heavy-duty multi-ply rubber air bag, with a heavier ply count than the 14K version, carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer while soaking up the road shock that would otherwise slam straight into your truck and cargo.

Set It for Loaded or Empty: A heavy bumper-pull load can swing 1,000+ lbs between empty and full. Add air for a max-weight run, bleed it off for the deadhead home. The HD airbag has a wider usable pressure range than the 14K, so it keeps you riding right across that whole span.

Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis: It keeps the same outside shape as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits, but the wall steel is thicker and the welds are reinforced to carry the full 20K loadings.

One Simple Pivot: Shocker's down-and-back motion rides on a single pivot, with no slides, rollers, or stacked airbags, even at HD loadings. Fewer moving parts under heavy stress means less to wear out and a longer service life.

Heavier Airbag: A multi-ply rubber bag rated for the full 20K GTW, with a wider usable pressure range so it carries more tongue weight without bottoming out.

Beefier Walls and Welds: Thicker steel and a reinforced weld pattern right where the stress concentrates, rated for 2,000 lbs of tongue weight versus 1,400 lbs on the Original 14K.

This Shocker HD Air Hitch & Pintle Hook w/Mount ships with a 2.5" Rise to 6.5″ Drop ball-mount setup. Most Shocker ball mounts are reversible, so you can flip the mount to turn drop into rise, or work through the 8 adjustment holes to fine-tune coupler height. A heavy bumper-pull trailer really needs to sit level.

Get the drop wrong and you overload either the front or rear axle of the trailer, so take a minute and dial it in.
