Shocker Air Equalizer for Weight Distribution Hitch

Add bolt on air ride towing to your pickup & camper with an equalizer, weight-distribution hitch in minutes. (easily bolt your existing weight-distribution head to air equalizer). WD hitch is not included (sold separately). It filters and absorbs road shock, tugs, jerks, bumps, bangs, and sways through the built in air ride suspension system, creating a smooth ride for the tow vehicle utilizing a compatible wd hitch and the camper trailer. It directs the normal towing resistance between the tow vehicle using a weight distribution hitch, and the trailer through the air ride system, which produces a much smoother ride. It also naturally reduces trailer sway by filtering and absorbing the changing tongue weight that occurs when towing on uneven or rough roads.

Our air ride equalizer for a WD hitch reduces wear and tear on the pickup truck, driveline, trailer and frame. The shock absorbing and dampening design of an air hitch creates less stress on tow vehicle and trailer. Less stress means less wear and tear on both the tow vehicle and the trailer frame and welds. It’s a must have for newer trailers with aluminum frames that tend to crack because of rough roads and a traditional hard truck to trailer connection. An air ride hitch will greatly reduce the chances of frame cracking and breaking.

This is designed for pulling with a Pickup Truck and vehicles with Leaf Springs. It will not work with SUV/CUVs with coil-over springs in the rear.

Fits & bolts to most major brands of weight-distribution hitch heads: Fastway E2, Equalizer, Reese, Husky, Pro Series, Torklift, Blue OX, Camco Eaz Lift & Curt round bar, Curt trutrack & trunnion head). Measure your head, the air equalizer fits heads that have 2-1/2" center to center or 3-3/4" center to center bolt hole patterns. (Does not work with Anderson chain style or B&W Continuum weight-distribution hitch)

You can easily fine-tune and adjust the air pressure for the best ride and load control on every trip. For heavier loads, increase the air pressure; for lighter loads reduce it. A cushion, steel spring or torsion hitch is not adjustable for tow weight or tongue weight. The air ride equalizer, when used with a compatible weight distribution system, allows for better control of your pickup & trailer.
