The Shocker Quick Air Gooseneck Hitch Only is the upper assembly from the Quick Air Full Conversion Kit, sold standalone. It includes the Shocker Gooseneck Surge air hitch, the round 4-inch inner stem, and a Demco EZ Latch coupler for a 2-5/16-inch. Designed to drop into a Shocker 5th-wheel-to-gooseneck pin box you already own. Rated at 24,000 lbs GTW with 6,000 lbs tongue weight. For replacement and component-level upgrades only.

What This Drops Into
This hitch is engineered specifically for the Shocker gooseneck pin box family. It will NOT fit standard gooseneck trailers — the inner stem is shorter than a normal gooseneck stem on purpose:

- Shocker gooseneck pin box for Lippert 1716, 1116, 0115, FabEx 500-560 (SH-RVGC-4410)

- Third-party bolt-over kingpin-to-gooseneck adapters (rated 20,000 lbs in this config)

Full Conversion Kit
Includes the pin box AS WELL AS this hitch and coupler assembly. The right choice if you do not already own a Shocker pin box.
Pin Box Only
Just the pin box housing — no air hitch, no coupler. Cheapest entry point. Buy this first, then add the Hitch Only later for a phased upgrade.
Important: Shorter Stem — Not a Standard Gooseneck
The Shocker Quick Air gooseneck hitch uses a SHORTER inner tube stem than a normal gooseneck. This is intentional — it is designed to fit inside the Shocker 5th-wheel-to-gooseneck pin box housing only. It will NOT fit a normal gooseneck trailer (the stem is too short to engage the trailer's coupler housing). If you want air ride for a standard gooseneck trailer (livestock, flatbed, equipment), see the Surge Air Gooseneck Standard 30K line instead.
Why Air Ride at the 5th-Wheel Connection
5th-wheel campers transmit a forward-and-back chucking motion through the kingpin/gooseneck connection — the worst kind of jerk for cabinets, slide-outs, dishes, and your spine. The Shocker Gooseneck Surge air hitch is the only air hitch designed to work exclusively in that forward-and-back direction. Customers report 1-2 mpg fuel savings, dramatically less wear on truck driveline and camper frame, and a noticeably calmer in-cab experience. Tow rating: full 24,000 lbs GTW / 6,000 lbs tongue weight when installed in the engineered Shocker pin box; derated to 20,000 lbs GTW maximum when installed in third-party bolt-over kingpin-to-gooseneck adapters.

Installation
Slide the air hitch stem into the Shocker gooseneck pin box. Set height by aligning the desired adjustment hole and inserting the supplied pin. Tighten the set bolt. Inflate the air bag to your starting pressure. Lower onto the gooseneck ball and confirm the auto-latch engages.
