Hitch Only (replacement)
Just the air hitch and coupler. Go this way if you already run a Shocker gooseneck pin box and only need to replace the upper assembly.
Pin Box Only
Just the gooseneck pin box housing, and the cheapest way in. Buy it now and add the air hitch and coupler later when you're ready.
Air Ride Kingpin Box
Keeps the 5th-wheel kingpin but adds air-ride dampening. Pick this if you'd rather not switch to gooseneck and want to keep your existing 5th-wheel hitch in the truck bed.
Why Air Ride Matters Most on a 5th Wheel
A 5th-wheel camper passes road shock along the kingpin as a forward-and-back chucking motion, which is about the worst jerk you can feel in the cab or back in the camper. The Shocker Gooseneck Surge air hitch is the only air ride hitch built to work in that exact forward-and-back direction. Important: Safety Chains Sold Separately
Gooseneck towing legally requires safety chains, so the Shocker SH-PBCK gooseneck chain kit is required and sold separately.
