This Shocker raised ball mount goes after that at the source. It carries a 2" chrome ball and adds two sway bar mount tabs, so you can hook up a friction sway control arm with mini balls (like the Shocker 1001 friction sway control kit) to settle the trailer before the sway builds. Run without a ball, the raised mount uses a 1-1/4" hole for the hitch ball to bolt through. It's built for heavy hauling and rated at 10,000 lbs gross and 1,000 lbs tongue weight with the 2" ball, so it handles the heaviest trailer most half-tons and three-quarter-tons will pull.
