The Trailer Tongue Vertical Channel mount adapter kit for your trailer a-frame is a weld on adapter that converts a typical horizontal trailer tongue to accept a vertical channel bolt on coupler or pintle ring. This allows you to adjust the height of the coupler on the front of your trailer. This weld on vertical channel mount has 6 adjustment holes.
The six bolt hole pattern works great with typical vertical channel trailer couplers. Perfect for modifying a trailer or when building a custom trailer. The outer front is 4" wide, the outer rear is 11.75" wide. From front to back it measures 7-1/2". Actual vertical channel is 3.7" OD x 2.9" ID x 12" Tall w/ 2" on center bolt pattern.

High Strength ASTM A572 Grade 50 Steel: Made in the USA with Premium ASTM A572 Grade 50 Steel.
Weight Rating Guide: If you are using 2 bolts to attach coupler then its 14,000 lbs GTW if using 4 bolts then 20,000 lbs GTW that also assumes this kit is properly professionally welded onto the front of a trailer and the coupler or pintle ring you are using can handle those respective capacities.

This is heavy duty unit that in most cases exceeds factory towing weight capacities, therefore it’s important you read and follow the tongue & tow weight recommendations of the truck it is mounted on, hitch & ball rating, the trailer coupler rating & the ratings of the trailer you are towing.
