The Shocker 8K Sport Air Hitch Base Frame acts as a built-in air suspension system between your truck and trailer, eliminating the jerky push-and-pull of traditional towing. Rated for up to 8,000 lbs Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) and an 800 lbs tongue weight, its adjustable air ride system absorbs the harsh road shock.
Just tweak the air pressure to match your load, and you'll get an instantly smoother, safer ride that saves both you and your vehicle from taking a beating. This economic but strong base frame is the ultimate starting point for your towing setup, giving you the flexibility to build exactly what you need.
Available ball mount attachments include combo ball, drop, raised, cushion draw bar, pintle hook, pintle & ball, clevis pin, along with ball mounts with sway control tabs, which are sold separately. This modular design means you can easily swap out the front-end attachment to adapt to different trailers on the fly.
