It drops over a 2-5/16″ hitch ball and auto-latches on its own, so you just lower the trailer and it locks the ball in place, quick to hook up and quick to drop. It fits trailer A-frames with vertical channels and our air trailer tongue mounts, is rated to 20,000 lbs tow and 2,000 lbs tongue weight, and ships with two 4-1/2″ long x 5/8″ diameter bolts and two lock nuts. The heavy-duty black powder coat keeps salt and road spray from rusting it out, so it holds up season after season.

When to Order Just a Coupler

If you already run a Shocker tongue mount and the original coupler is worn or damaged, a standalone Wallace or Demco coupler replaces just the head. You keep the tongue mount and swap only the worn part, which saves you the cost of a whole new setup.
