Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
The Trail Force 14K is built for tow vehicles where the receiver is recessed inside the bumper — full-size SUVs, flatbed pickups, and service-body work trucks. It packages the same 14,000 lbs GTW air ride chassis as the Original Shocker but with 10 adjustment holes for extended drop/rise range, finished in matte black so it disappears against an off-road or work-truck aesthetic. 1/2" to 4-1/2" Drop with a dual 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch combo ball mount.
Key Highlights
- 14,000 lbs GTW capacity for SUVs, flatbed trucks, and service body trucks
- Engineered for recessed receivers — no hitting the bumper at full droop
- 10 adjustment holes for extended 1/2" to 4-1/2" Drop
- Textured matte black finish — work-truck and overland-friendly
- Same air ride and rocker-arm pivot proven on the Original Shocker line
- 2-inch shank fits F-150-class half-ton trucks (and class III/IV receivers)
- Adjustable air pressure for any load up to 14,000 lbs
- Direct compatibility with all standard Shocker ball mount attachments
Engineered for Recessed Receivers
Pulls the Pivot Forward
The Trail Force chassis positions the rocker-arm pivot to clear bumpers that wrap around the receiver tube, so the ball mount swings freely under load without contacting bodywork.
10 Adjustment Holes
Two extra holes versus the Original 14K give you a wider window of drop and rise — important when an SUV or flatbed sits at a different height than a standard pickup.
Matte Black Finish
Textured matte black powder-coat blends with blacked-out wheels, tube bumpers, and service-body paint. No chrome, no glare, no work-truck mismatch.
Same 14K Air Ride
Mechanically identical to the Original Shocker 14K under the skin: heavy-duty steel frame, multi-ply air bag, rocker-arm pivot, and Shocker's lifetime frame warranty.
Built for These Tow Vehicles
Trail Force exists because some tow vehicles don't accept a standard air hitch cleanly. If you drive any of these, this is your line:
- Full-size SUVs (Suburban, Tahoe, Sequoia, Expedition, Yukon)
- Flatbed pickups (1500/2500/3500 with aftermarket beds)
- Service-body work trucks
- Overland and off-road builds with rear tube bumpers
- Any pickup where the receiver sits inside the rear bumper
- Work fleets needing a stealth, blacked-out hitch profile
Trail Force vs. the Original Shocker 14K
Same load rating, same air ride. The difference is geometry, finish, and adjustment range:
Trail Force 14K
Engineered for recessed receivers. 10 adjustment holes. Matte black finish. Choose this if your bumper wraps the receiver, or you want a darker visual.
Original Shocker 14K
Standard 8 adjustment holes. Red powder-coat. Choose this if your receiver hangs below an exposed bumper — it is the cheaper, classic option.
Shocker HD 17K
Heavier-duty 17,000 lb chassis. Step up to HD if you need more capacity than 14K, regardless of receiver style.
Pair With Any Shocker Ball Mount
Trail Force shares the standard Shocker ball mount attachment interface. Pick a dual 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch combo mount with 1/2" to 4-1/2" Drop to fit your trailer height. Combo balls, drop and rise mounts, drawbars, pintle hooks, and sway-tab variants are all interchangeable — and the extra adjustment holes give you more options to dial in level tow geometry.
Construction and Warranty
Trail Force shares the heavy-duty steel chassis architecture of the Original Shocker line: laser-cut side plates, a precision-machined pivot, and a multi-ply commercial air bag. The textured matte black finish is a powder coat over phosphate-prepped steel for chip and corrosion resistance. Backed by Shocker Hitch's lifetime frame warranty and 60-day satisfaction guarantee. Manufactured in Jamestown, North Dakota.
