Easy Install
Completely replaces your factory gooseneck stem & coupler with Gooseneck Surge Air System with King Pin. Installs in Minutes.
Fits Low Profile 5th Wheel Plates
& has 3 height adjustment holes. (Standard King Pin extends 3" forward from your factory King Pin)
Gooseneck Air Hitch to King Pin
Designed for low-profile 5th wheel plates like on flatbed trucks. Not for use with camper 5th wheel plate.
30,000 lbs Tow & 7,000 lbs tongue weight
With the ability to adjust air pressure for the best ride and load control. Heavy loads, just add air.
Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
When a stiff commercial truck suspension hits a frost heave or a hard stop, that forward-back jerk runs straight back through a gooseneck trailer and works over the load, the coupler, and everything welded to it. This conversion lets your gooseneck trailer ride on the low-profile commercial 5th-wheel plate you already have in your flatbed or semi. The factory ball coupler comes off and the multi-fit-square carries a King Pin kingpin socket that drops onto the 5th-wheel jaws, with a patented air spring soaking up that surge instead of passing it to your cargo. Rated for 30,000 lbs GTW and 7,000 lbs of tongue weight. One thing to be clear on before you buy: this is for low-profile commercial plates only, not camper or RV 5th-wheel hitches.
Key Highlights
- 30,000 lbs GTW and a 7,000 lb tongue weight, real headroom for heavy commercial loads

- Built for the low-profile commercial 5th-wheel plates on flatbed trucks and semis
- Not for camper or RV 5th-wheel hitches (wrong height and geometry), so check before you order
- Same patented forward-back surge air absorption as the Standard 30K, taking the jerk off your load
- The multi-fit-square swaps in for your factory inner stem in minutes
- 3 height adjustment holes and 3" of forward extension past the factory location for clearance
- In stock in Canada and shipping direct, so you skip the border wait

Gooseneck Trailer Onto a 5th-Wheel Truck
This one is for a specific setup. You run a gooseneck trailer with a square or round inner stem, and you tow with a flatbed truck or semi that already has a low-profile commercial 5th-wheel plate in it. Welding a gooseneck ball into that flatbed is a hassle you do not want. Instead, you pull your trailer's factory inner stem and slide in the Shocker multi-fit-square with a King Pin socket. Now your gooseneck trailer drops onto the same 5th-wheel jaws a semi trailer uses, and the Shocker air ride soaks up the forward-back jerk that stiff flatbed and semi suspensions can't filter out on their own.
Read This Before You Order: Plate Compatibility
This kingpin conversion is engineered for low-profile commercial 5th-wheel plates only. Those are the flat steel plates with sliding jaws you see on flatbed trucks and semi tractors. It is not compatible with camper-style or RV 5th-wheel hitches (Reese, B&W, Curt, Andersen, and the like), which sit higher off the truck bed and use different geometry. If your truck carries a tall RV-style 5th-wheel hitch for towing a fifth wheel camper, this is the wrong product. RV 5th-wheel users should look at the Quick Air Gooseneck or 5th-wheel air-ride conversion families instead.
Air Ride for Mixed Gooseneck and 5th-Wheel Work
King Pin Instead of a Ball Coupler
The factory ball coupler comes off completely and a forged kingpin socket goes on, sized to lock into standard commercial 5th-wheel jaws.
The Airbag That Kills the Jerk
Same patented surge-air mechanism as the Standard 30K. The air spring sits between the inner stem and the kingpin and absorbs the forward-back jerk that stiff commercial truck suspensions make worse.
30,000 lb Capacity
Engineered to the same 30,000 lbs GTW as the standard ball-coupler 30K, with a 7,000 lb tongue weight rating that handles commercial flatbed loads.
Drops Into Your Trailer's Outer Tube
The multi-fit-square replaces the factory inner stem in your gooseneck trailer's outer tube. Nothing changes on the truck side, and your existing 5th-wheel plate stays as-is.
Built for Commercial Flatbed and Semi Operators
This is a niche setup, built for one specific job.
- Flatbed operators running low-profile 5th-wheel plates
- Semi owners who also pull gooseneck equipment trailers
- Hotshot haulers with mixed gooseneck and 5th-wheel fleets
- Drivers who want one truck to pull both trailer types
- Industrial transporters on low-profile commercial fifth wheels
Stem Options
Same chassis, same King Pin, three inner stem shapes to match your trailer.
Multi-Fit Round (4" or 100mm)
Patent-pending round stem that fits both 4" and 100mm round outer tubes, with straight or angled pin holes.
Multi-Fit Square (4" or 100mm)
Fits both 4" and 100mm square inner tubes with straight pin holes, the most common modern square stem.
4-1/2" Square Stem
Heavy-wall stem for trailers built around the larger 4-1/2" square inner tube, common on heavy-duty makes.
