Built-In Air Spring

Sway Control: Two Configurations
The Max Black ships with or without sway-control tabs, depending on the ball-mount attachment you choose:
Standard Ball Mount (No Sway Tabs)
Right for boats, livestock trailers, equipment haulers, and any load that doesn't need friction sway bars. The pivoting air-ride design already cuts down on sway tendency on its own.
Ball Mount With Welded Sway Tabs
Adds welded mounting tabs for a friction sway-bar kit (sold separately). Go this way for travel trailers and tall-profile campers that catch crosswind and start to sway.
Flippable Drop / Rise Geometry
This Shocker Max Black Air Hitch & Drawbar Mount ships set up as a 1/2" to 4-1/2" Drop. Most Shocker ball mounts flip over, so you can turn that drop into rise, and the 8 adjustment holes let you fine-tune coupler height. Towing a low travel trailer behind a lifted truck or a tall camper behind a stock pickup, the geometry adapts either way.
