Built-In Air Spring
A heavy-duty air bag sits under the receiver tube and soaks up the jerking, tugging, and impact before any of it reaches your truck or trailer. There's no solid metal connection to pass the shock through.
Adjustable for Any Load

Sway Control: Two Configurations
Depending on the ball mount you pick, the Max Black comes with or without welded sway-control tabs:
Standard Ball Mount (No Sway Tabs)
Best for boats, livestock trailers, equipment haulers, and anything that doesn't need friction sway bars. The pivoting air-ride motion already cuts down on sway tendency by itself.
Ball Mount With Welded Sway Tabs
Adds welded tabs so you can bolt on a friction sway-bar kit (sold separately). The pick for travel trailers and tall campers that get pushed around in a crosswind.
Flippable Drop / Rise Geometry
This kit ships set up as 2" Rise to 2" Drop. Like most Shocker ball mounts, it's reversible, so you can flip it to turn drop into rise, and use the 8 adjustment holes to fine-tune coupler height. Towing a low travel trailer behind a lifted truck or a tall camper behind a stock pickup, the geometry adapts to get you sitting level.
