Built-in HD Air Ride System
Absorbs road shock and creates a smooth ride & reduces trailer sway. Dual rubber bump cushions offer additional HD performance.
Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
When your truck sits high and your trailer tongue sits low, the trailer rides nose-down, drags at the front, and hammers everything behind you over every frost heave and hard stop. The Shocker HD Max Black Super Drop Air Hitch & Drawbar Mount closes that gap. Its 12-hole Super Drop frame drops the ball up to 12-1/2 inches, so a lifted rig or a low-deck trailer finally sits level, and the same 20K air ride suspension from the HD Max Black line soaks up the jolts a solid drop hitch passes straight through. Rated at 20,000 lbs GTW, it fits 3-inch receivers and gives you 1/2" to 8-1/2" Drop to dial in a level, settled tow on lifted trucks and low-deck trailers.

Why the Super Drop Frame
Four More Holes Than Standard
The standard HD Max Black frame has 8 holes. This one has 12. Those four extra adjustment holes are what get you 10 to 12 inches of drop, enough to level a lifted truck the standard frame can't reach.
Air Ride at Every Drop Setting
Most deep-drop hitches are a solid block of steel that pounds every bump straight into your truck and trailer. The Super Drop keeps the airbag working across the whole drop range, so you get the clearance without the beating.
Flip It for Rise
Some trailer tongues sit high instead of low. Flip the frame over and you get up to 2 inches of rise, handy for a cab-over camper or a taller trailer tongue behind a stock-height truck.
Works With Your HD Max Black Attachments
It takes every HD Max Black ball mount attachment you'd want (combo balls, pintles, clevises, drawbars). Buy the frame once and swap the attachment when your trailers change instead of buying a whole new hitch.
Built For These Trucks and Trailers
If your factory hitch leaves the trailer riding nose-up or nose-down, you need more drop range than it gives you. This frame is how you get it.
- Lifted half-ton, 3/4-ton, and 1-ton pickups running a 3 to 6 inch lift
- Trailers with low front tongues that drag when a stock-height truck pulls them
- Low-deck equipment haulers, race trailers, and gooseneck-converted bumper-pull trailers
- Dual-rear-wheel trucks that ride tall from the factory
- Any rig where a standard 6 to 7 inch drop still can't get the trailer level
- F-350 / RAM 3500 / dual-rear-wheel one-ton trucks (class V/VI receivers) on aftermarket suspension
Super Drop vs Standard HD Max Black 20K
Both ride on the same 20K air ride chassis, so pick based on how much drop your setup actually needs.
Standard HD Max Black 20K (8-hole frame)
Gives you up to roughly 7 inches of drop. That's plenty for a stock-height truck pulling a typical bumper-pull trailer, it costs less, and it's the standard pick for most setups.
HD Max Black Super Drop (12-hole frame)
Gives you up to 12-1/2 inches of drop. Reach for this one when the standard frame just can't get the trailer level, like on lifted trucks, low-tongue trailers, or an odd height mismatch. It adds $50 to $80 over the standard frame.
Why a Level Trailer Matters More Than You'd Think
Here's what most new towers don't learn until it bites them. When a trailer rides nose-high, weight comes off the trailer's front axle and the whole thing starts to sway behind you. When it rides nose-low, the front axle is overloaded and the trailer dives every time you hit the brakes. Either way you chew through tires faster, the ride turns harsh, and your stopping distance grows. Getting the trailer level is the single biggest tow safety upgrade most lifted-truck owners can make, and the Super Drop frame is what lets you do it without giving up air ride.
Built and Finished for the Long Haul
This is a heavy-duty steel chassis wearing a textured matte black powder coat that hides road grime, takes rock chips without flaking, and holds its color under UV far better than a gloss finish. Inside is the same multi-ply commercial air bag Shocker runs across the whole HD line, so it's proven hardware, not something new. It's backed by Shocker's 60-day satisfaction guarantee, and it's in stock and shipping from Canada, so there's no border wait.
