20K-Rated Air Spring
An HD multi-ply rubber air bag carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer and still soaks up the road shock that would otherwise pound on the truck and your cargo. It's the same engineering as the HD Red, finished to match the matte-black chassis.
Air You Can Adjust for Heavy Loads
A bumper-pull load can swing 1,000+ lbs between empty and full, and a spring set for one is wrong for the other. Add air for the max-weight run, let some out for the deadhead home. The HD airbag has a wider usable pressure range than the 14K, so you have room to dial it in.
Reinforced HD Chassis

Flip It From Drop to Rise
This Shocker HD Air Max Black Hitch & Drop Ball Mount w/ 2-5/16" Ball ships set up as a 4-1/2" to 8-1/2" Drop ball mount. Most Shocker ball mounts are reversible, so you can flip the mount to turn that drop into rise, or work the 8 adjustment holes to fine-tune coupler height. A heavy bumper-pull trailer is fussy about sitting level. Get the drop wrong and you overload either its front or rear axle, so take the time to dial it in.
