Its 12-hole Super Drop frame gives you up to 12-1/2 inches of drop, and it carries the same 20K air ride suspension that runs through the whole HD Max Black line, so you level the trailer without the bone-jarring ride of a solid steel drop hitch. It's rated at 16,000 lbs GTW (enough to haul just about any bumper-pull trailer you'll put behind a half-ton, three-quarter-ton, or one-ton), slides into a 2-inch receiver, and gives you 3″ Drop to 7″ Drop to dial in level tow on lifted rigs and low-deck trailers.

This frame has four more adjustment holes than the standard 8-hole HD Max Black frame. Those extra holes are what let you reach 10 to 12 inches of drop, enough to level a lifted truck that a normal hitch leaves hanging nose-up.

Super Drop vs Standard HD Max Black 20K
Both use the same 20K air ride chassis. Pick based on how much drop your setup actually needs.
Standard HD Max Black 20K (8-hole frame)
Gives you up to roughly 7 inches of drop. It's the right call for a stock-height truck pulling a typical bumper-pull trailer, and it costs less. This is the default pick in the HD Max Black lineup.
HD Max Black Super Drop (12-hole frame)
Gives you up to 12-1/2 inches of drop. Reach for this one when the standard frame can't get the trailer level, like a lifted truck, a low-tongue trailer, or an odd height mismatch. It runs about $50 to $80 more than the standard frame.
