20K-Rated Air Spring
A tough multi-ply rubber air bag carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer and soaks up the road shock before it reaches your truck and your cargo. It's the same air spring as the HD Red, just finished to match the matte-black chassis.
Adjustable for Heavy Loads
A heavy bumper-pull trailer can swing 1,000-plus lbs between empty and loaded. Add air for the max-weight run, bleed it off for the empty trip home. The HD air bag works across a wider pressure range than the 14K, so it keeps up with bigger loads.
Reinforced HD Chassis
Same 8-hole outer pattern, so every Shocker ball mount still bolts on. Underneath it's thicker-wall steel with welds reinforced for 20K loads, all wrapped in textured matte-black powder coat.

This Shocker HD Max Black Air Hitch & Raised Ball Mount w/ 2" Ball & Sway Bar Tabs ships set up as a 2" Rise to 2" Drop ball mount. Most Shocker ball mounts flip over, so you can turn drop into rise, and the 8 adjustment holes let you fine-tune coupler height on top of that. A heavy bumper-pull trailer is fussy about sitting level. Get the drop wrong and you pile weight onto the trailer's front or rear axle instead of spreading it, so take a minute to dial it in.
