An Air Spring Rated for 20K
A heavy-duty multi-ply rubber air bag carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer and still soaks up the road shock that would otherwise hammer your truck and your cargo. Same guts as the HD Red, finished to match the matte-black chassis.

A 20K-rated HD air bag and reinforced steel walls take capacity up to 20,000 lbs GTW with 2,000 lbs of tongue weight, well past what the 14K is built for. This is the hitch to grab when your loads run past 14K.
The 3-Inch Receiver Option
The HD Max Black comes in a 3-inch receiver for dual-rear-wheel one-ton trucks, something the Max Black 14K doesn't offer at all.
Flip It for Drop or Rise
This Shocker HD Max Black Air Hitch & Raised Ball Mount w/ 2" Ball ships set up as a 2" Rise to 2" Drop ball mount. Most Shocker ball mounts flip over, so you can turn that drop into rise, and the 8 adjustment holes let you fine-tune coupler height on top of that. A heavy bumper-pull trailer is fussy about sitting level. Get the drop wrong and you overload either the front or rear axle of the trailer, so take a minute to dial it in.
