Adjustable for Weight
Fine-tune for your towing weight. Just add air for heavier loads. Adjust the air pressure for the best ride and load control. Fine tune your towing by easily adding or reducing air as needed.
Built-in HD Air Ride System
Absorbs road shock and creates a smooth ride & reduces trailer sway. Dual rubber bump cushions offer additional HD performance.
12 Adjustment Holes
2" of rise to 6" of drop. With the massive drop of this hitch, you should have at least 22″ of height from the ground to the bottom of your trucks receiver tube.
2 Hole Receiver Shank
Available for 2", 2 1/2" & 3" receiver hitch tubes with Two hitch pin holes for length adjustability.
Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
When your truck sits high on a lift or big tires and your trailer tongue rides low, a normal hitch hangs the trailer nose-down or forces it nose-up. You feel that tilt on the road as sway, as jarring over frost heaves, and as longer, harder stops. The Shocker HD Max Black Super Drop closes that gap. The 12-hole frame gives you up to 12-1/2 inches of drop so you can level the trailer out, and it does it while keeping the same 20K air ride suspension that runs through the whole HD Max Black line. Rated at 20,000 lbs GTW, fit for 2-1/2-inch receivers, and adjustable from 2" Rise to 6" Drop, it dials in a level, settled tow on lifted rigs and low-deck trailers.
Key Highlights
- Levels the toughest truck-to-trailer height gap with up to 12-1/2 inches of drop, the deepest in the HD Max Black family

- 12-hole Super Drop frame lets you fine-tune the exact height for a level trailer
- Textured matte black powder coat shrugs off rock chips, rust, and sun fade
- 2-1/2-inch shank drops into F-250 and RAM 2500-class three-quarter-ton trucks (class V receivers)
- Flip the frame over to gain extra rise when a taller tongue calls for it
- Same airbag and same chassis strength as the standard HD Max Black 20K, just with more drop

What the Extra Drop Gets You
Four Extra Holes to Work With
This frame has four more adjustment holes than the standard 8-hole HD Max Black frame. Those extra holes are what let you pull 10 to 12 inches of drop, enough to bring a lifted truck's trailer back to level.
Air Ride at Every Drop Setting
Most deep-drop hitches are solid steel, so you get a hard, jarring ride that beats on your truck, your trailer, and whatever you loaded. The Super Drop keeps the airbag working across the entire drop range, so you get the clearance without the punishment.
Flips Over for Rise
Turn the frame upside down and you get up to 2 inches of rise. Handy for a cab-over camper or a taller trailer tongue behind a stock-height truck.
Works With Every HD Max Black Attachment
It takes every HD Max Black ball mount attachment, including combo balls, pintles, clevises, and drawbars. Buy the frame once and swap attachments as your trailers change.
Built For These Trucks and Trailers
If your factory hitch leaves the trailer tilted nose-up or nose-down, you need more drop range than it can give. This frame is how you get it.
- Lifted half-ton, 3/4-ton, and 1-ton pickups running 3 to 6 inch lifts
- Trailers with low front tongues that ride nose-down behind stock-height trucks
- Low-deck equipment haulers, race trailers, and gooseneck-converted bumper-pull trailers
- Dual-rear-wheel trucks that sit tall from the factory
- Any rig where the standard 6 to 7 inch drop still leaves the trailer uneven
- F-250 and RAM 2500-class three-quarter-ton trucks (class V receivers) running aftermarket suspension
Super Drop vs Standard HD Max Black 20K
Both ride on the same 20K air ride chassis. The only question is how much drop your setup actually needs.
Standard HD Max Black 20K (8-hole frame)
Gives you up to roughly 7 inches of drop. It is the right call for a stock-height truck pulling a typical bumper-pull trailer, and it costs less, which makes it the standard pick for most setups.
HD Max Black Super Drop (12-hole frame)
Gives you up to 12-1/2 inches of drop. Go with this one when the standard frame cannot get the trailer level, like on lifted trucks, low-tongue trailers, or odd height mismatches. It runs $50 to $80 more than the standard frame.
Why a Level Trailer Matters More Than You Think
Tow a trailer nose-high and weight comes off its front axle, which is what starts a trailer swaying behind you. Tow it nose-low and you overload that front axle and the trailer dives every time you hit the brakes. Either way you pay for it in chewed-up tires, a rougher ride, and longer stopping distance. For most lifted-truck owners, getting the trailer level is the single biggest safety upgrade they can make, and the Super Drop frame is what makes it possible without giving up air ride.
Built and Finished for the Long Haul
The chassis is heavy-duty steel wearing a textured matte black powder coat that hides road grime, takes rock chips without flaking, and holds up to the sun better than a glossy finish. Inside is the same multi-ply commercial air bag Shocker runs across its whole HD line. It is covered by Shocker's 60-day satisfaction guarantee, and it is in stock and shipping direct from Canada with no border wait.
