Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
Hook the heaviest legal bumper-pull load to a bare ball and every frost heave and hard stop slams straight up through the hitch into your truck. The trailer chucks back and forth, the cargo takes a beating, and your driveline wears faster than it should. The Shocker HD Air Hitch drops an HD-rated air spring between truck and trailer so all that pounding turns into a cushioned ride. It's the 20K red heavyweight of the Shocker bumper-pull line, sized for F-250 / RAM 2500-class three-quarter-ton trucks (class V receivers) with a 2-1/2-inch receiver. This kit ships with a 2-5/16" ball and handles 20,000 lbs GTW and up to 2,000 lbs of tongue weight on a beefier-wall version of Shocker's 8-hole chassis. Built for one-ton trucks pulling the heaviest bumper-pull loads on the road.

How Shocker HD Air Ride Works
An Air Spring That Soaks Up the Hits
The HD air bag uses more rubber plies than the 14K version, so it carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer behind you and still softens the road jolts before they reach your truck and your load.
Dial It In, Empty or Loaded
A heavy trailer can swing 1,000+ lbs between empty and full. Pump in air for a max-weight run, let some out when you deadhead home. The HD bag has a wider usable pressure range than the 14K, so one hitch covers both.
Beefier Steel, Same Fit
It keeps the same outside shape as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still bolts on. Underneath, thicker-wall steel and reinforced welds carry the full 20K load.
One Simple Pivot
Shocker's down-and-back motion runs on a single pivot, with no slides, rollers, or stacked airbags even at HD loads. Fewer moving parts under heavy stress means less to wear out and a longer service life.
Who Buys the HD 20K
For one-ton trucks pulling the heaviest bumper-pull loads on the road.
- F-350 / RAM 3500 / Silverado 3500 owners towing near their max rating
- Livestock haulers running 30+ ft bumper-pull stock trailers
- Equipment and skid-steer guys on 16k+ tilt-deck trailers
- Big enclosed cargo trailers and car haulers up to 20,000 lbs
- Dual-rear-wheel trucks that need a matched HD hitch on a 3-inch receiver
- Anyone bottoming out an Original 14K under heavy tongue weight
HD vs. Original: What's Different
Same chassis shape, same attachment lineup, with the upgrades that let it carry the extra weight:
Heavier Airbag
A multi-ply rubber bag rated for the full 20,000 lbs GTW with a wider usable pressure range, so it carries heavier tongue weight without bottoming out on a rough road.
Beefier Walls and Welds
Thicker steel and a reinforced weld pattern where the stress runs highest. That takes the tongue-weight rating to 2,000 lbs, up from 1,400 lbs on the Original 14K.
Flip It for Drop or Rise
A heavy trailer that rides nose-high or nose-low throws its weight onto one axle, and that chews through tires and bearings fast. This kit ships in a 4-1/2" to 8-1/2" Drop setup with a 2-5/16" ball. Most Shocker ball mounts flip over to turn drop into rise, and the 8 adjustment holes let you fine-tune coupler height until the trailer sits dead level. Take the time to dial it in.
Built for the Heaviest Loads
This hitch is built from reinforced heavy-wall steel and finished in Shocker's impact-resistant safety-red powder coat that shrugs off chips and road grime. It's in stock and ships direct from Canada, so there's no border wait. When the HD air bag eventually needs replacing, you can swap it in a few minutes using the same simple Schrader-style fitting as the 14K. Every hitch is backed by Shocker's 60-day satisfaction guarantee.
