How Shocker HD Air Ride Works
Air Spring Rated to 20K
The HD air bag uses more plies of rubber than the 14K version, so it carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer load and still soaks up the road shock that would otherwise pound your truck and your cargo.
Dials In for Any Load
A heavy bumper-pull trailer can swing 1,000 lbs or more between empty and loaded. Add air when you're running max weight, bleed it off on the deadhead home. The HD airbag has a wider usable pressure range than the 14K, so it keeps up with those bigger swings.
Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis
It keeps the same outside shape as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still bolts right on, but the walls are thicker steel and the welds are reinforced to handle the 20K loadings.

Getting a heavy bumper-pull trailer sitting level really matters. Run it nose-high or nose-low and you overload either the front or the rear axle of the trailer, so take the time to dial it in.
