How Shocker HD Air Ride Works
20K-Rated Air Spring
A heavy-duty multi-ply rubber air bag, built with a heavier ply count than the 14K version, carries up to 16,000 lbs of trailer load and still cushions the road shock before it reaches your truck and cargo.
Adjustable for Heavy Loads
A loaded trailer can weigh 1,000+ lbs more than an empty one. Add air for the max-weight run, let some out for the empty trip back. The HD airbag has a wider usable pressure range than the 14K, so it handles that whole swing.
Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis
It keeps the same outside geometry as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits, but the wall steel is thicker and the welds are reinforced to carry the full 20K loadings.
Rocker-Arm Pivot
