How Shocker HD Air Ride Works
20K-Rated Air Spring
The HD air bag is built from multi-ply rubber with a heavier ply count than the 14K, so it carries up to 16,000 lbs of trailer and still soaks up the road shock that would otherwise pound your truck and cargo.
Adjustable for Heavy Loads
A heavy trailer can swing 1,000-plus lbs between empty and loaded. Air up before a max-weight run, then bleed it back down for the deadhead home. The HD airbag gives you a wider usable pressure range than the 14K, so you can tune the ride to the load.
Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis
The outside geometry matches the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits, but the walls are thicker steel and the welds are reinforced and rated for the 20K loadings.
