This is the heaviest bumper-pull hitch Shocker builds, made for one-ton trucks pulling the heaviest loads the law allows.

How Shocker HD Air Ride Works
Air Spring Rated to 20K
This air bag uses more rubber plies than the 14K version, so it can carry up to 20,000 lbs of trailer and still soak up the road before it reaches your truck and cargo.
Dials In With Air
A heavy bumper-pull trailer can swing 1,000+ lbs between empty and loaded. Pump air in for a max-weight run, bleed it off on the deadhead home. The HD bag works across a wider usable pressure range than the 14K, so one hitch covers both.
Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis
It keeps the same outside shape as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits, but the walls are thicker steel and the welds are reinforced to handle 20K loads.
One Simple Pivot

The multi-ply rubber bag is rated for the full 20K GTW and works across a wider usable pressure range, so it carries heavier tongue weight without bottoming out.

Thicker steel and a reinforced weld pattern right where the stress lives. That takes tongue weight up to 2,000 lbs, versus 1,400 lbs on the Original 14K.
Flip It for Drop or Rise
This hitch ships set up for a 1/2" to 4-1/2" Drop. Most Shocker ball mounts flip over, so you can turn that drop into rise, and the 8 adjustment holes let you fine-tune coupler height. A heavy trailer really cares about sitting level. Get the drop wrong and you overload either the front or rear axle of the trailer, so take the time to set it right.
