How the HD Air Ride Works
A 20K Air Spring Between You and the Bumps
An HD rubber air bag with more plies than the 14K version carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer and still cushions the jolts before they reach your truck and cargo.
Dial It In for Loaded or Empty
A heavy bumper-pull trailer can swing 1,000+ lbs between empty and full. Air up for the max-weight run, then bleed some off on the deadhead home. The HD airbag works across a wider pressure range than the 14K.
More Steel Where It Counts
Same outside shape as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits, but with thicker-wall steel and reinforced welds rated for the 20K loads.

Flip It for Drop or Rise
This combo ships set up with 1/2" to 4-1/2" of drop. Most Shocker ball mounts are reversible, so you can flip the mount to turn drop into rise, or use the 8 adjustment holes to fine-tune your coupler height. Heavy bumper-pull trailers care a lot about sitting level. If the drop is off, you end up overloading either the front or the rear axle of the trailer, so take a minute and dial it in right.
