How the HD Air Ride Softens the Road
20K-Rated Air Spring
An HD air bag built with more rubber plies than the 14K version. It carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer load and still soaks up the road shock before it reaches your truck and cargo.
Adjustable for Heavy Loads
A heavy trailer can swing 1,000-plus lbs between empty and loaded. Add air for the max-weight runs and bleed it off for the deadhead home. The HD airbag gives you a wider usable pressure range than the 14K to work with.
Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis
It keeps the same outside geometry as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits, but the wall steel is thicker and the welds are reinforced to handle 20K loadings.
Rocker-Arm Pivot

Flip the Mount to Match Your Trailer
This kit ships with a 2" Rise to 2" Drop ball-mount setup. Most Shocker ball mounts are reversible, so you can flip the mount to turn drop into rise, or use the 8 adjustment holes to fine-tune coupler height. Heavy bumper-pull trailers are fussy about sitting level. Run them nose-high or nose-low and you overload either the front or rear axle of the trailer, so take the time to dial it in right.
