How the Shocker HD Air Ride Works
An Air Spring Rated to 20K
The HD air bag is built from multi-ply rubber with a heavier ply count than the 14K version. It holds up to 20,000 lbs of trailer and still cushions the road shock that would otherwise pound your truck and cargo.
Tune It to the Load You're Pulling
A heavy bumper-pull trailer can swing more than 1,000 lbs between empty and full. Air it up for the max-weight run, then bleed it down on the deadhead home. The HD airbag has a wider usable pressure range than the 14K, so you get more room to set the ride right.
A Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis
It keeps the same outside shape as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits. But the steel is thicker and the welds are reinforced to carry the 20K loadings.
One Pivot, Nothing to Wear Out
The down-and-back motion rides on a single rocker-arm pivot, with no slides, no rollers, and no stacked airbags, even at HD loadings. Fewer moving parts under heavy stress means it lasts longer.
