How Shocker HD Air Ride Works
A Bigger Air Spring, Rated to 20K
This HD air bag runs a heavier ply count than the 14K version, so it carries up to 20,000 lbs of trailer load and still cushions the jolts before they reach your truck and cargo.
Tune It to the Load
A heavy bumper-pull trailer can swing 1,000+ lbs between empty and full. Air up for the max-weight run, then bleed it back down on the deadhead home. The HD airbag has a wider usable pressure range than the 14K, so it covers both ends.
Reinforced 8-Hole Chassis
It keeps the same outside shape as the Original line, so every Shocker ball mount still fits, but the wall steel is thicker and the welds are reinforced to handle the 20K loads.
One Simple Pivot
Shocker's down-and-back motion works off a single rocker-arm pivot, with no slides, rollers, or stacked airbags to wear out, even at HD loads. Fewer moving parts under high stress means it lasts longer.

Get the drop wrong and you overload either the front or rear axle of the trailer, so take the minute to dial it in.
