Why a 20K Cushion Hitch
Capacity That Matches a 1-Ton
The 14K Impact Cushion handles half-tons and plenty of 3/4-tons just fine. Start pulling skid steers, dump trailers, and heavy equipment haulers behind a 1-ton and you want the 20K chassis under you. Same cushion technology, heavier steel to carry the load.
Two Cushions Doing the Work
Two sealed rubber cushions compress and rebound to swallow the shock the road hands you. The pivoting ball mount lets them move, which is why a cushion hitch rides smoother than a solid bar even loaded to the full 20,000 lb GTW.

HD Max Black 20K (air-ride sibling)
An adjustable airbag you dial to the load, with more travel and a smoother ride at any tongue weight. You do need an inflator, and the airbag is a wear item over the years, though it is field-replaceable when the time comes. Best for daily towers and heavy-haul operators who want to tune the ride.
