Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
Pull twenty thousand pounds behind a 1-ton on a solid mount and you feel every seam in the road come straight up through the truck. Every hard stop shoves the trailer into your hitch, every frost heave jars the load, and after a long haul your back, your truck, and your cargo have all taken a beating. The Impact Max Cushion Hitch & Drawbar Mount w/1" Hole fixes that. Two sealed rubber bump cushions soak up the shove and the chucking so the ride stays smooth even with a heavy trailer hooked up. It hauls 20,000 lbs GTW with up to 2,000 lb tongue weight, slides into any 2-inch receiver, and adjusts from 3-1/2" Drop to 3-1/2" Rise so you can level out the trailer. It runs the same cushion design proven on the Impact Cushion 14K, built here on the heavier 20K chassis and finished in matte black powder coat, with no air pressure to check and nothing to maintain.

Why a 20K Cushion Hitch
Enough Capacity for a Loaded 1-Ton
The 14K Impact Cushion handles half-tons and plenty of 3/4-tons. Once you start dragging a skid steer, a loaded dump trailer, or an equipment hauler behind a 1-ton, you are asking a lot of the hitch and you want the 20K chassis under you. Same cushion setup, built from heavier steel that does not flinch at the weight.
Two Cushions Doing the Work
Two sealed rubber cushions squash and rebound with every bump, swallowing the shock before it reaches the truck. The ball mount pivots as they flex, and that motion is why a cushion hitch rides smoother than a solid bar even when you are loaded right to the limit.
Matte Black That Hides the Miles
Textured matte black powder coat shrugs off road grime, resists chips from gravel and salt, and looks right behind a blacked-out truck. It comes from the same finish family as the HD Max Black air-ride line.
Nothing to Pump Up
Air-ride hitches at this capacity need a compressor and a gauge to keep them set. The Impact Max is sealed, so there is nothing to inflate and nothing to read. Out on a remote job site or a far corner of the ranch where dragging a compressor around is a hassle, that is one less thing to deal with.
Built For These Trucks and Trailers
Twenty thousand pounds is a serious pull. The Impact Max is built for the trucks and loads that demand it, with none of the air-ride fuss.
- 1-ton pickups like the F-350, RAM 3500, or GMC 3500HD
- Dually trucks pulling right at full GTW
- Skid steer trailers, loaded dump trailers, and equipment haulers
- Contractor and ranch trailers running at or near 20,000 lbs
- Fleet trucks where you want simple and tough over adjustable
- Owners who outgrew the Impact Cushion 14K and need more capacity
Impact Max 20K vs HD Max Black 20K
Same 20K chassis family, same matte black finish. What you are really choosing is how the hitch soaks up the road.
Impact Max 20K (this product)
Sealed rubber cushions that never need maintenance and cost about 30 to 40% less. No compressor, no pressure gauge, nothing to set before you pull out. Best if you want it simple and tough with a clear ride upgrade over a solid mount and no air-ride routine to keep up with.
HD Max Black 20K (air-ride sibling)
An adjustable airbag you can dial to any load, with more travel and a smoother ride at any tongue weight. It needs an inflator, and the airbag is a wear item over the years, though you can swap it in the field. Best for daily towers and heavy-haul operators who want to fine-tune the ride.
Built for the Job Site
On a working ranch, a remote job site, or a busy fleet yard, you rarely have time to check airbag pressure before every tow. The Impact Max drops that step completely. Hook up, pull, unhook, and do it again for years with no maintenance routine to remember. If you want Shocker capacity and ride quality but want to treat the hitch like any other tool on the truck, this is the line built for you.
Same Attachments as the HD Max Black
The Impact Max shares its ball mount attachments with the HD Max Black, so combo balls, pintle hooks, clevises, drawbars, raised mounts, and drop mounts all interchange between them. Run more than one truck across the Shocker ecosystem and one set of attachments works across the whole 20K family. The textured matte black powder coat stands up to UV, road salt, and rock chips, and it ships direct from stock in Canada with no border wait.
