No safety chains required for kingpin towing (chains are only required for gooseneck). Installation
Support the front of the camper with a floor jack. Remove the factory 5th-wheel kingpin pin box (typically 6-8 bolts). Lift the new Shocker air ride kingpin box into place and reuse the factory bolts to fasten. Inflate the air bag to your starting pressure. Hook up to your existing 5th-wheel hitch as you normally would.
Tools needed:
