Built-In Air Spring

A heavy-duty air bag mounted under the receiver tube absorbs jerking, tugging, and impact forces before they reach your truck or trailer. No hard connection, no shock transfer.

Adjustable for Any Load

Add air for heavier loads, release air for lighter ones. Dial in the perfect pressure so the hitch sits at proper ride height every time you hook up.

Rocker-Arm Pivot

Shocker's signature down-and-back motion uses a single pivot — no slides, rollers, parallel linkages, or stacked airbags. Fewer moving parts, longer service life.

Dual Bump Cushions

Sway Control: Two Configurations

The Original line ships with or without sway-control tabs depending on the ball-mount attachment you choose:

Option 1

Standard Ball Mount (No Sway Tabs)

Best for boats, livestock trailers, equipment haulers, and any load that doesn’t need friction sway bars. The pivoting air-ride design naturally reduces sway tendency on its own.

Option 2

Ball Mount With Welded Sway Tabs

Adds welded mounting tabs for friction sway-bar kits (sold separately). Recommended for travel trailers and tall-profile campers prone to crosswind sway.

Flippable Drop / Rise Geometry

This Shocker Air Channel Style Pintle & Ball Hitch ships with a 3″ Drop to 7″ Drop ball-mount configuration. Most Shocker ball mounts are reversible — flip the mount to convert drop into rise, or use the 8 adjustment holes to fine-tune coupler height. Whether you tow a low travel trailer behind a lifted truck or a tall camper behind a stock pickup, the geometry adapts.

Installation

Easy — No Special Skills~10 minutes

Slide the Shocker shank into your truck's 2-1/2-inch receiver, secure with a hitch pin, and inflate the air bag to match your trailer's tongue weight. Attach the ball mount with the included D-handle pins. Hook up your trailer and adjust pressure until the truck and trailer sit level.
