Smoother Safer Towing
Air ride towing technology with a heavy duty built in air ride suspension system to cushion the ride & absorb the road shock. Add instant air ride to your pickup & trailer.
Adjustable Raised Hitch Ball Mount
Adjustable height for raised ball mount (2″ of rise to 2″ of drop). With 2-5/16″ Ball.
8 Adjustment Holes
Raised Mount offers 2″ of Rise to 2″ of Drop. Air Hitch offers 2″ of rise to 8-1/2″ of drop – Depends on mount chosen.
Built-in Air Spring Bag
The road shock absorbing design creates a smooth ride & naturally reduces the tendency of trailer sway. Dual rubber bump cushions also offer additional performance.
Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
Every trip to the ramp ends the same way: you drop the trailer, then wrestle a heavy steel hitch out of your receiver and your back feels every pound. The Shocker 10K Aluminum Streamline is the lightest air ride hitch we build. The frame, the 2-inch shank, and the paddle are all aluminum, which cuts the weight to roughly half of our steel hitches, so you can lift it in and out of your receiver one-handed. It hauls up to 10,000 lbs GTW, sets your trailer with 2" Rise to 2" Drop, and carries a 2-5/16-inch ball mount. Aluminum doesn't rust, so it stays clean through salt spray and lake launches, and it moves from truck to truck when you trade up.
Key Highlights
- All-aluminum frame and 2-inch shank cut the weight to about half a comparable steel hitch

Why Aluminum
Half the Weight
The aluminum frame, 2-inch shank, and paddle weigh roughly half what a comparable steel hitch does. If you're lifting the hitch in and out of the receiver every weekend, your back will notice the difference by Sunday.
It Won't Rust
Aluminum doesn't rust. Salt spray, road brine, lake launches, and coastal humidity all pit, scale, and seize steel, and none of it gets a hold on this hitch.
Same Air Ride, Lighter Body
The built-in air bag and rocker-arm pivot are the same proven Shocker design that soaks up frost heaves and hard stops. We just hung them on a lighter, corrosion-proof aluminum chassis.
Outlasts Your Truck
Trade in your tow vehicle and this hitch comes with you. No rust pits, no flaking finish, no bolts seized into a corroded frame.
What It's Built to Tow
The 10,000-lb rating handles just about any recreational trailer you'll pull with a half-ton truck or SUV:
- Boat and personal watercraft trailers, especially around salt water
- Snowmobile and off-season storage trailers
- Car trailers and small enclosed haulers
- Ice houses and fish houses
- Utility and landscaping trailers
- Light dump and equipment trailers under 10,000 lbs
- Any trailer where the weight sitting on your truck matters
Aluminum Streamline vs. Steel Air Hitches
Here's where the Aluminum Streamline fits against the rest of our steel air ride family:
Aluminum Streamline 10K
10,000 lbs GTW. The lightest hitch we make and rust-proof. Best if you're lifting the hitch on and off a lot or living near salt water. It stops at 10K because aluminum isn't safe past that load.
Original Shocker 14K (Steel)
14,000 lbs GTW. Heavier and cheaper. The default pick if lifting the weight isn't a daily thing and your loads can run past 10K.
HD Max Black 20K (Steel)
20,000 lbs GTW. The heaviest and strongest. Built for three-quarter-ton and one-ton trucks pulling heavy goosenecks, dumps, and equipment trailers.
Pick the Ball Mount That Levels Your Trailer
The Aluminum Streamline uses Shocker's standard ball mount system. Pick a 2-5/16-inch mount with 2" Rise to 2" Drop so your trailer sits level behind your truck. Combo, drop, rise, clevis, drawbar, and pintle mounts are all available, including options with sway-control tabs. Whatever you choose ships paired to the base frame as a complete, tow-ready assembly.
Stocked and Shipped From Canada
Like every Shocker Hitch, the 10K Aluminum Streamline sits in stock in Canada and ships direct, so there's no border wait holding up your order. The aluminum frame is precision-machined and finished in silver powder coat, and the air bag is the same multi-ply rubber unit you'll find in commercial air suspension systems. It's backed by Shocker Hitch's 60-day satisfaction guarantee.
