This bolt on style vertical channel trailer tongue mount adapter is used to bolt on to your aluminum trailer a-frame if you wan to convert your coupler to a vertical channel style ball coupler or pintle ring. Featuring impact resistant textured matte black powder coat, the tongue adapter is fully welded and design to bolt on to your aluminum trailer a-frame. This adapter converts your typical horizontal trailer tongue to accept a vertical channel type coupler. Your aluminum trailer has a bolt on coupler, you unbolt that, drill holes into the bolt on tongue adapter and bolt the tongue adapter into your factory mounting bolt holes. This vertical channel mount has 6 adjustment holes. The six bolt hole pattern works great with typical vertical channel trailer couplers. Perfect for modifying an aluminum a-frame trailer. The outer front is 4" wide, the outer rear is 11.75" wide. From front to back it measures 7-1/2". Actual vertical channel is 3.7" OD / 2.9" ID x 12" Tall w/ 2" on center bolt pattern. This 50° a-frame vertical channel that is designed to be bolted onto the front of a trailer a-frame. Weight Rating: If you are using 2 bolts to attach vertical channel mount trailer ball coupler then its 14,000 lbs if using 4 bolts then 20,000 lbs that also assumes this kit is properly bolted onto the trailer and the coupler you are using can handle those respective capacities.
