Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
Run a work trailer over rutted fields, gravel pits, and washboard back roads and a ball coupler starts to fight you. It binds, it wears, and the constant chatter beats up the trailer and the truck. The Shocker Pintle Mount Plate lets you switch your Shocker bumper hitch over to a pintle setup, the heavy-duty coupling that shrugs off rough ground. It bolts to your bumper hitch and holds a bolt-on pintle hook, or a bolt-on pintle hook and ball combo (sold separately). It is adjustable, and you can flip it around for more drop or rise instead of buying a different hitch. Fits Shocker Air, Streamline and HD series bumper hitches, plus Shocker XR series hitches and Impact series cushion hitches, sliding into the 3-3/4" Shocker Bumper Hitch Channel. It carries a 20,000 lb tow rating and 2,000 lb tongue weight, so it pulls the heavy equipment and work trailers a pintle is built for. The plate runs 3-5/8" wide OD to fit a 3-3/4" hitch ID channel with a 2" on center hole pattern for a 5/8" pin.
Key Highlights
- Drops right into your Shocker bumper hitch: fits Air, Streamline and HD series, plus Shocker XR series and Impact series cushion hitches, sliding into the 3-3/4" Shocker Bumper Hitch Channel.
- Flip it for the height you need: turn the plate around to get more drop or rise on your Shocker bumper hitch instead of buying another hitch (flip the bolt-on pintle to match).
- 10 tons of pull: 20,000 lb towing capacity and 2,000 lb tongue weight, enough for heavy equipment and loaded work trailers.
- Dials in your coupler height: on an Air Hitch you get 2-1/2" rise to 6-1/2" drop, and on cushion and solid hitches 6" rise to 6" drop.
- Bolts up to your pintle hardware: 1.75" vertical and 3.375" horizontal hole spacing matches the bolt-on pintle hook (part # SH-332) and the pintle hook and ball combos (SH-336-2 and SH-336-25, sold separately).
- Sized for a snug fit: 3-5/8" wide OD slides into a 3-3/4" hitch ID channel with a 2" on center hole pattern for a 5/8" pin on Shocker bumper hitches.

Drop, Rise, and Capacity
Flip it around to get more drop or rise on your Shocker bumper hitch, so one plate covers different coupler heights (flip the bolt-on pintle to match). It is rated a 10-ton, 20,000 lb towing capacity and 2,000 lb tongue weight. On an Air Hitch the range runs 2-1/2" rise to 6-1/2" drop, and on cushion and solid hitches it runs 6" rise to 6" drop.
When to Choose a Pintle Attachment
If you spend your days hauling on rough ground, a pintle hook and ring coupling holds up where a ball coupler struggles. It is the heavy-duty standard on farms and job sites because it self-aligns under load and takes the flex and twist of uneven terrain better than a ball coupler. That makes it the go-to for work trailers that live off the pavement.
