Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
Corrugated outback tracks, cobbled European lanes, and long rough country roads hammer a trailer and everything strapped to it, and every hard knock travels straight up through the coupler into your tow vehicle and your back. The Shocker Metric Export Air Hitch soaks that up before it ever reaches you. It is the Original Red 14K chassis fitted with metric ball mount attachments for Australian and European rigs, rated to haul 12,000 lbs GTW. The ball mount is drilled to the 22mm hole standard, so a bolt-on 50mm or 70mm tow ball fits straight in with no adapters. You get 2" Rise to 2" Drop on a 2-inch shank to level up to your trailer. This one is built for AU/EU coupler standards, not the US or Canada market.

Built for Metric Markets
22mm Ball Hole
The ball mount is drilled to the metric 22mm hole used across Australia and Europe, so a bolt-on 50mm or 70mm trailer ball drops straight in. No adapters and no US-spec workarounds to chase down.
Same 14K Air Ride Chassis
Underneath, this is the Original Shocker 14K you can lean on: laser-cut steel side plates, a multi-ply commercial air bag, and a rocker-arm pivot doing the heavy work. Only the ball mount geometry changes for your region.
Adjustable Air Pressure
Air up for a heavy load and let some out for a light trailer, so the ride stays smooth whatever you hook up. Same tuning you get on our domestic air hitches.
Air Ride Where You Need It
Outback corrugations, European cobble, and rural roads pound hard knocks into a trailer and tow vehicle. The built-in air bag catches that shock before it reaches your cargo or your spine.
Ideal Applications
Common AU/EU tow jobs where this hitch shines:
- Australian outback caravan and off-road trailer towing
- European caravan and small horse-float towing
- Box and utility trailers up to 12,000 lbs / 5,400 kg
- Boat trailers over long, rough country roads
- Light commercial trailers for trades and contractors
- Any AU/EU coupler-standard trailer where ride quality matters
Metric Export vs. US/Canada Lines
Choose the right line for your market:
Metric Export (AU / EU)
22mm ball hole for bolt-on 50mm or 70mm metric balls. This is the one for Australian and European rigs where US imperial couplers aren't the standard.
Original Shocker 14K (US / Canada)
Runs the imperial 2" or 2-5/16" ball setup for North America. Same air ride chassis, different ball geometry.
Metric Off-Road AU/EU Tongue Mount
Puts the metric coupler on the trailer side instead of the truck. Pick this if you want the air ride to stay with the trailer when different tow vehicles hook up.
Buy Your Ball Locally
Metric ball sizes vary by region. 50mm is standard across most of Europe, and 70mm is common in Australia and parts of the EU for heavier trailers. That is why the trailer ball is sold separately. Grab a 50mm or 70mm bolt-on ball locally to match your trailer coupler, and either one fits the 22mm hole on the included ball mount attachment.
Shipping and Warranty
In stock in Canada and ready for international shipping, so there is no long wait for one to be built. Backed by Shocker Hitch's 60-day satisfaction guarantee. The air bag is field-replaceable in about 5 minutes, with replacement bags available globally. You are responsible for any local import duties, taxes, or compliance certification at destination.
