Improves Safety
By giving you improved control of your tow vehicle and trailer. The Gooseneck surge air hitch system allows for better control of your pickup and the trailer it is towing.
Stop destroying your trailer and cargo.
Every bump, pothole, and expansion joint sends a violent jolt through your trailer frame, damaging cargo and wearing out your truck. Shocker Air Ride Hitches absorb that punishment at the coupling, before it reaches your trailer.
Every gooseneck tow starts with that hard forward-back jerk between your truck bed and the trailer stem. You feel it pulling away from a stop, you feel it in the mirrors when you get on the brakes, and every mile of it grinds on your bed, your stem, and whatever you're hauling. The Surge Air Gooseneck Standard 30K swaps your factory inner stem and coupler for a patented airbag system that soaks up that jerk, rated at 30,000 lbs GTW. This square-100mm version comes with a Demco EZ Latch coupler for a 2-5/16-inch ball and fits nearly any gooseneck trailer maker out there. It drops in in minutes and puts real air ride under every tow.

How the Air Ride Works on a Gooseneck
The worst shock in gooseneck towing is that forward-back jerk between your truck bed and the trailer stem. Surge Air is built to soak up that one motion.
Airbag That Kills the Forward-Back Jerk
An air spring sits behind the inner stem and takes the forward-back jerk you feel pulling away from a stop, hitting the brakes, and crossing rough pavement, before it ever reaches your truck and your load.
Simple Rocker Arm, Fewer Parts to Wear
A single rocker arm does the job of parallel linkages, shocks, and torsion arms. Fewer moving parts means less to maintain and a longer life under heavy use.
Tune It to What You're Hauling
Add air when the load rides heavy, let some out when the trailer's empty. One valve takes the same hitch from a fully loaded equipment trailer to a deadhead return run.
Drops Into Your Existing Setup
The square-100mm replaces your factory inner stem directly. No drilling, no welding, no cutting into the truck bed. The air ride lives between the stem and the coupler.

Pick the Stem That Matches Your Trailer
Order the version that matches the inner stem your trailer already uses. Same air-ride chassis, same Demco EZ Latch coupler, just a different stem shape.
Multi-Fit Round (4" or 100mm)
Patent-pending round stem that fits both 4" and 100mm trailers with straight or angled pin holes. The go-to pick if your trailer runs a round stem.
Multi-Fit Square (4" or 100mm)
Fits both 4" and 100mm square inner stems with straight pin holes. Covers most modern square-stem goosenecks.
4-1/2" Square Stem
Heavy-wall stem for trailers built around the larger 4-1/2" square inner stem. Common on PJ, Big Tex, Diamond C, and other heavy-duty makers.
Top-Crank 100mm Square
Made to replace top-crank handle stems on trailers like Bison and others that use the crank-style height adjustment.
Driving a Short-Bed Pickup?
This Standard 30K sits 3" forward of your factory coupler, which is fine on a long-bed truck. But on a short bed, that trailer nose can swing close to your cab in a tight turn. If that's your rig, go with the Surge Air Gooseneck 9" Offset 30K instead. Same air ride, with the coupler set 9 inches farther forward to keep the trailer clear of the cab.
Built to Last
Thick-wall steel runs the whole body, with a patented Demco EZ Latch coupler handling the hookup. The air spring is the same multi-ply rubber used in commercial air suspension systems, and the rocker arm geometry has fewer wear points than a parallel-linkage hitch, so there's less to fail down the road. Backed by Shocker Hitch's 60-day satisfaction guarantee. In stock and shipping from Canada.
