Instead of a rigid connection that beats up your truck and cargo, this hitch uses a built-in air ride system to absorb the shock of rough highways and gravel roads.
It instantly smooths out your ride. Just adjust the air pressure to match your trailer's weight, and you will have a much more comfortable time behind the wheel. Installation is incredibly simple, as it slides directly into any standard 2" receiver hitch on your pickup, van, or select SUVs with the receiver hitch under the bumper.
This specific setup features an adjustable drop ball mount providing a 4-1/2" to 8-1/2" drop, making it the perfect solution for lifted or taller stock trucks. What really makes this attachment stand out is the addition of sway bar tabs welded onto both sides of the mount. This allows you to easily hook up a Shocker friction sway bar kit or a standard friction sway control arm bar or bars.
If you struggle with trailer sway on windy days or rough roads, combining the air-cushioned ride with dedicated sway control is exactly what you need. Choose from either a 2" or 2-5/16" hitch ball to fit your exact setup. The air system sits neatly under the receiver tube, keeping the pivot point close to your bumper at a short 10" distance for precise handling.
To handle the really nasty potholes and dips, the hitch also includes dual bump cushions, so you do not have to worry about bottoming out on harsh terrain. There is really no reason to keep punishing yourself, your passengers, or your cargo with a traditional hard connection.
